No. Our tools provide insight into your child's development but are not medical or educational diagnoses. If you have concerns, we recommend speaking with a GP, health visitor, or qualified professional.

Starter is designed for children aged 2 to 3½ years (24–42 months). Research suggests the milestone we are looking for typically emerges around 2 years 8 months.

No. We are not looking at letter formation or neatness — most children this age are still scribbling, and that is exactly right. We are looking at something deeper: whether they understand that writing and drawing serve different purposes.

You will do a simple 10–15 minute activity with your child using paper and crayons. Then upload photos of what they create. The tool guides you through exactly what to do.

Perfect — that is exactly what we expect. Scribbles tell us a lot. There is no "failing" here. Whatever we find gives you useful information about where your child is right now.

That is fine — this is designed for toddlers. If your child only makes a few marks, that is still enough. If they wander off halfway through, that tells us something too. There is no "correct" way to do this.

We take privacy seriously and keep very little information. We only retain the report and the email address it was sent to — we do not collect or store your child's full name or date of birth.

This information is kept for 7 days to allow us to help with any refunds or issues with your assessment, then it is permanently deleted.

Insight (Ages 7+) is a comprehensive evaluation — occupational therapy-level analysis without the waiting list. It covers pencil grip, letter formation, writing speed and legibility, plus screening for indicators of dysgraphia and dyslexia.
